Career seems to be a very important side of human life but unfortunately, we all are confused about what people should deal with.

Nowadays millions of career options are available to all of our ad so they are growing and declining as per the need of the human. So to choose one among them is so difficult. Artificial Intelligence can indeed replace most of them but to operate AI we need humans. It means only Information Technology has great career options. No, it’s not like there are many options available in the Non-IT sector too. All we need to understand is that hard skills and technical skills can be done even with AI. But soft skills are not their forte, so we need to deal with them and always be better than AI. Every month I will be posting about two careers, their requirement for soft skills, and what kind of personality should pursue them. To know your personality, the link is attached below: www.16personalities.com.

Narendra Nath Sen Gupta is a Harvard-educated Indian Psychologist, Philosopher, and also Professor who is recognized as the founder of modern Psychology in India along with Indian scientist Gunamudian David Boaz. The science of Psychology plays an important role in examining human behavior, and the environment and behavior, applying what we learn to illuminate our understanding as well as enhance the world around us. It helps to provide service to the community and understand the world around us.

The career opportunities in Psychology are Brain Science and Cognitive psychology, Clinical Psychologists, Counseling Psychologists, Developmental Psychologists, Quantitative Psychologists, and a lot more. One can obtain these positions by completing intermediate with any stream with or without Psychology as a subject and then pursuing B.A. Psychology/ Applied Psychology for three years and then proceed by doing a master’s in the same and then finally pursue M.Phil. Psychology or Clinical Psychology or Ph.D. in Psychology.

One must have 60% marks in intermediate to pursue the following courses, need to give the NET exam for Lectureship, and also a few colleges conduct interviews for admissions. Many universities in India or abroad allow the best quality education for students. Their work responsibilities include designing of implementing behavior modification, identifying Psychological issues, counseling individuals, and formulating interview techniques. It is in upcoming demand, and involves helping people but also can be stressful at times, and takes time to settle down.

The soft skills that can make one better in this field:

  1. Communication Skills is one of the most important one; you need to know how to communicate with other people. There are many talks on how can that can help you with this but my favorite book is “How to Win Friends and Influence People” by Dale Carnegie. But one tip which can help you most every time you face discomfort talking to someone is to face it and even stammering just does it. You will improve!!! There is a link that can help you with these. 2. Patience: Sometimes we listen to other problems and are prone to get bored and we end up making quick solutions. Sometimes we need time and patience so that other person can share their problem with more ease than everyone else. Have patience but also give them hints that they are secure while sharing their feelings. Secondly, there are nowhere problems there are just solutions but due to some circumstances, it takes place of questions.
  3. Ethics: When people share their feelings and thoughts it often happens we may create some bonds but we need to keep a work ethic. We should never mix professional and personal life, they are two different shores, and mixing them may bring a tsunami in life. Have ethics a good polite manner and also strict rules and boundaries while making other person life better.
  4. Problem-Solving: Problem-Solving is one should be creative while solving a problem and a creative solution gives a different perspective to the patient and also make them interested in the problem and discussion.
  5. Compassion: Finally, psychologists must have a sense of compassion embedded within their character. Being empathetic can improve communication and the relationship that you will be establishing.

Now, the personalities that suit these types of careers the most are INFJ and ENFJ. If anyone of them is your personality, work accordingly if it is one of your interests. Give different career options that you want to read about.
