Career seems to be a very important side of human life but unfortunately, we all are confused about what people should deal with.
Nowadays millions of career options are available to all of our ad so they are growing and declining as per the need of the human. So to choose one among them is so difficult. Artificial Intelligence can indeed replace most of them but to operate AI we need humans. It means only Information Technology has great career options. No, it’s not like there are many options available in the Non-IT sector too. All we need to understand is that hard skills and technical skills can be done even with AI. But soft skills are not their forte, so we need to deal with them and always be better than AI. Shyamoli Varma is the first model of India and also a former Indian actress and model. She is also known as a supermodel and the first Lakme girl and she was active till 2005 in her career space. The skills required to excel in the field of Modelling are the ability to work well with others, should have active listening skills, and being flexible and open to change as the world needs every time something new to see and entertain them. Modeling includes physical skills like movement, coordination, dexterity, and grace but also they should have great patience to be successful in this field.
Modeling is one of the most glamorous professions in the world. With so many products being launched every day, it needs a model to showcase them temptingly so that the customers are tempted to get the things. The career opportunities available to the Models are in Fashion Shows, Photographic Modelling, and House Live models. These positions can be accomplished by completing intermediate in any stream and then pursuing a bachelor’s in any discipline or pursuing a diploma in Modelling.
Models should have the ability to organize themselves and manage the workload in a tight schedule with good concentration skills and they should never mix their professional and personal life. The benefits in this field are getting fame and recognition, getting to travel around, good payment package, but also initial pay is low and working hours are not fixed and impose restrictions on your eating habits.
The soft skills required to become a model are critical thinking, creative thinking, communication, collaboration, and citizenship. Once you have these skills you can be the best model, besides being physically attractive you also need to have soft skills to reach higher spheres of this field.
- Critical Thinking: It is a useful tool for children to use when they are making decisions. Critical thinking skills help them be more informed and able critically analyze the information that they receive, which can lead to better problem-solving activities. Once they know how to tackle the problem they can create a solution creatively.
- Creative Thinking: Creativity helps to develop innovative solutions to problems. It requires an openness to innovation and mental flexibility. Soft skills like creativity can be developed at an early age, which will set them up with a head start in life and help build imagination and original thinking.
- Communication: Communication Skills is one of the most important one; you need to know how to communicate with other people. There are many talks on how can that can help you with this but my favorite book is “How to Win Friends and Influence People” by Dale Carnegie. But one tip which can help you most every time you face discomfort talking to someone is to face it and even stammering just does it. You will improve!!! There is a link that can help you with these.
